Thankful for Pumpkin Pie

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. First we had a big dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's house on Thanksgiving Day and discovered Abby's love for pumpkin pie (see picture). She ate two pieces all by herself! Like her Grandpa, she also loves oatmeal raisin cookies. On Saturday, we saw lots of the relatives at Elaine's house and ate more great food. The weekend was rounded out by helping Grandma decorate her Christmas tree on Sunday and then we headed back home.
Abby proved to be a helpful little decorator on Sunday. She was not afraid to jump right in and help string the lights and get the ornaments out. After the tree was trimmed, she even found her shopping cart and rammed into the tree a couple of times. So we can already see that having both Abby and a Christmas tree is going to mean a lot of close supervision!
