Finally, a new blog post! We have had some nice weather lately and are getting plenty of walks in. Abby has a very big vocabulary and it is so fun to hear her talk. This morning she said, "Super Duper" and has been saying it all day. One of Abby's favorite things about summer is lightning bugs. Tonight on her bike ride she pointed out tons of lightning bugs and her dad let one crawl on her arm and on her leg.
Evan has been standing more and is growing very fast. Much faster than Abby did! We are hoping the clothes we have for him for the fall and winter will fit at the rate he is growing. He is always in a cheery mood and has a cute little giggle.
The above picture is from the end of May when we broke out the pool for Abby. Had someone else actually been in the pool playing with her, she might have stayed in there longer, but she kept running off instead of staying in the pool. The picture of Evan is from the beginning of June. We will lay him on a blanket and in no time he will scoot himself off. Now we are waiting for him to roll over. He gets very close and lays on his side, but usually has one hand holding his hair on his head so he does not get all the way over.
