Vacation!

Abby and Evan were both great little travelers this year on our vacation. We only stayed four nights, but it was nice to have a little getaway. The condo we rented in the Ozarks was really nice and kid-friendly and Abby loved it. She was calling it home by the end of the vacation and one of the highlights of the trip for her was playing in the empty closets!
Since we had the biggest heat wave of the summer strike during our trip, we definitely made use of the pool. At first, Abby hated the pool, but by the end of the trip she did not want to get out. She really made us laugh because when she was in the pool she kept asking, "Clean towel?" and saying, "Want out" and "Grandpa (who was on the sidelines) hold me?"

Evan made sure to relax on vacation. He slept through a two hour boat ride and also fell asleep in his infatable pool chair.

We had so much fun we are already thinking about a trip to the lake next summer! In the picture, you can see Abby looking cool with her shades on during the vacation.
