Abandon Ship!

Today the kids were at the neighbor's house playing with three of their little friends. Our neighbor has lots of toys, a few playground climbers and two kiddie pools in her back yard. It was a warm day and so the kids were stripped down for some pool time. Of course, with all the fun toys back there, they were all over the yard, playing - naked, and happy as clams. The four parents were just happy that the kids were having so much fun, running here and there -no worries!
Abby is particularly fond of the climber that has a ship theme - who wouldn't love to look out the telescope and steer with the captain's wheel? She ran over to the ship with her friend and climbed aboard. Then she exclaimed, "Look! There's a fly on my poop!" Maybe I heard that wrong...so Abby was asked to repeat the statement. Unfortunately, I had heard correctly. She had left something smelly on the poop deck! Ugh! The only good news was that no one had stepped in it.
The picture is from about a month ago, but I am just finally posting it. Evan does not usually like to wear hats, but he may have discovered that a hard hat was a good thing when playing with his sister.
