Monday night's showing of "The Baby Jesus Play" marked the directorial debut of Abby McGinnis. Evan was in charge of special effects - he can do amazing things with a Maglite flashlight. She had her toys cast as parts in the play with dollhouse furniture adding to the set and had it all set up on a makeshift stage (lower level of the coffee table) in the basement. Not only did she direct the play, but she also composed and sang all the musical numbers herself. Needless to say, this play was very entertaining for Mom, Dad, and the rest of the audience (toys).
Standing on a beige carpet, but definitely ready for the red carpet, is director Abby McGinnis with her father.
