Wow - this year has really flown by! It is so hard to believe that we are starting in on the last month. Yesterday Mike closed out November by putting up our Christmas lights - we went with colored lights this year and it looks pretty spiff.
Today we finished decorating by hanging the ornaments on the tree. Abby did very well until it was almost time for her to go to bed - that is when she laid into the tree. We took a friend's suggestion of putting the unbreakable ornaments at the bottom in case she does decide to do some real damage.
Tomorrow we are hoping to have some visitors. Originally we had planned on heading up to Loami to see some of Mike's family, but the weather turned ugly so we had a change of plans. Abby may still end up getting to see her Grandpa McGinnis and Grandma Becky if they take the southern route home. It is really warming up here (already up to 58 degrees) so it is looking good weather-wise!
