Huge Difference

The top two traumatizing moments in Evan's life have been haircuts. Yesterday was one of those moments. You would have thought someone was beating the kid the way he was yelling but it was only the hairdresser using the electric clippers. After a few minutes of that she switched to the scissors which was way more time consuming but not as terrifying for Evan, although he did keep a close eye on the hairdresser the entire time.

Half way through the ordeal we gave him a lollipop and that took his focus off of being afraid of haircuts for a while. Then we were asking ourselves why we didn't try that right away. Too bad I did not have the camera along to capture the little goatee he had from the hair sticking to his sticky sucker drool down his chin and neck.

A simple haircut just makes a person look totally different. I posted before and after pictures below so you can see the dramatic change.
