After going to visit Santa in his little house up by the library, Abby came home and looked at our fireplace and told us very matter-of-factly that Santa was not going to be able to fit through the little doors on our fireplace. After we explained that Santa had to use a little "Christmas magic" to get down chimneys with his bag of toys, she did not worry as much.
We left a plate of cookies with milk out for Santa and a bowl with some carrot sticks for all nine reindeer. After putting that out, Abby wondered how the reindeer were going to get their snack because they are up on the roof. She thinks everything over! Abby was relieved after she found out Santa would just slip the carrots in his pockets and feed the reindeer up on the roof.
