Making Sense of it All

While reading the book Go, Dog. Go! by P.D. Eastman, we came to the part "A red dog on a blue tree. A blue dog on a red tree. A green dog on a yellow tree." Abby stopped us and said, "You know, this doesn't make any sense." We had to laugh because so many of the books we read, the movies we watch, the songs we sing, and the things she says have an element of complete nonsense; yet here she was realizing that it is just plain goofy for a red dog to be on a blue tree.
