Goggles

Swimming is a lot of fun. But what is even more fun is swimming with SpongeBob SquarePants goggles! Abby and Evan are both proud owners of goggles now, thanks to a local store clearancing this item.

Their initial excitement about the goggles was definitely on two different levels. Evan took a while to warm up to the idea of even putting them on. After a few trips to the pool and a couple times down the outdoor water slide, Evan decided he liked them. Abby, however, was a completely different story. As soon as we were home from the store, she wanted to wear them. Even to bed! Mom and Dad convinced her she would be more comfy sleeping without goggles on and that we could just put them under her bed where she could easily find them when she woke up. Guess who came and woke up her Mom and Dad bright and early the next morning? Abby - giggling in goggles! And if you think that goggles are only good for swimming, think again! It turns out they can really come in handy when washing the family mini van (during which time a be-goggled Abby told her Dad, "Spray me in the face!"). We love the way these things crunch up their little faces...
