Evan is gifted - he's got the gift of gab! His stories can go on, and on, and on, twisting and turning, taking all of his listeners by surprise. He will talk to whoever he can get to listen; sometimes Brooke, the cashier at the grocery store, a friend who has stopped by, and especially Mom and Dad. He can get really serious during these stories and has some great facial expressions. He just does not want to stop talking, not to eat, not to sleep. After Abby falls asleep, Evan often comes wandering out of his room to find someone to talk to. The other night we overheard him saying, "Abby! Abby....Abby! I want to tell you something!" then a few seconds later when he discovered she was snoozing, he shouts, "Mom! I have an idea!" We are really going to miss this one day, especially if he turns into one of those teenagers that never wants to talk to their parents!
