The music playing on the radio was the song "Your Love" by the Outfield. Over and over Evan heard, "I don't wanna lose your love tonight" before telling his sister in a very matter-of-fact manner, "Ab, the guy in the song doesn't want to lose your love."
Abby had not been paying as much attention to the song as Evan so this required Evan to have to explain exactly what he was talking about, and hearing a 3 year old explain the lyrics of an old rock song to his five year old sister was really pretty funny, but probably one of those "had to be there" sort of moments. The thing about this blog is that it is great to put down little goofy things that the kids do that I am sure would be forgotten if they weren't written down, and even if no one else finds them amusing, we have these for ourselves.
