The week before the big birthday bash we had to make a stop at the post office. One of the ladies at the counter is always super friendly with the kids and she did not mind weighing Brooke on the scale - 18 pounds 6 ounces! This coming Monday Brooke will have her 1 year check-up at the doctor's office with shots and all so we will see if Brooke has gained much weight after a week of feasting on birthday cake!
