This spring Abby decided she wanted to play soccer. Did this have anything to do with two of her best pre-k friends being on the soccer team? Probably! She was not exactly the most enthusiastic soccer player out there when the ball was near her. But when the ball was at a distance, she would kick up a storm! During one game she kicked the ball away from the goal after it came near her, and this was the big moment of her spring 2012 soccer career. After that, she seemed to want to stay near the goal and protect it even though at this age level there is no one designated as the goalie.
