Play Ball

Batter up!  Evan and Abby have been swinging the bat and taking turns catching for each other.  Their Mom is not the best pitcher in the world, but they don't know any better and are not complaining, which is a plus.  After a lot of patience, we got Abby up to the plate - she was not thinking she would be good at batting at first, but once she started and hit the ball, she was pretty excited.  Abby is also the biggest Cardinals fan at our house, so we mentioned her favorite team a few times in an effort to get her to bat.  Evan was much easier - he just grabbed the bat and started swinging without any coaxing.
