Yes, it is official - we live in the Skunk Capital of the U.S. Our neighborhood is crawling with the stinky little bugars. Last night, there was one along the fence near our patio, and Mike luckily did not get sprayed while he was taking down the umbrella. Our neighbors got a kick out of me screaming, "Skunk!!" at the top of my lungs and running into the front yard with Abby after I spotted him.
Tonight, Mike pulled in the driveway around nine and was honking up a storm. This time our striped little friend was hanging out in the front yard! If anyone either knows of a good skunk relocation program or is a member of Adopt-A-Skunk, please let us know.
