Weight, that is. Monday we had a doctor's visit and Abby weighed in at 18 pounds 6 ounces, more than a pound than she measured on August 28th. This regular food is starting to kick in!
Yesterday Abby and I took advantage of the beautiful day and headed over to the Seminary to see some folks we had not seen in quite a while. There have been a lot of changes in the past year, but we were glad to see old friends. Everyone was amazed by how big Abby is now and especially enjoyed her little personality. She was pretty outgoing the entire while and managed to pick the president of the Seminary's nose - which had everyone laughing.
We hopped in the car and headed home before the traffic got too hairy and Abby was introduced to more food - this time three bean casserole and homemade strawberry ice cream. To no one's surprise, she liked them both.
It has been over a week now that she has been saying "bye-bye" while waving and it is her new favorite phrase. Practically every person or driving car she sees is bid farewell.
