And now we present...the McGinnis Family Jack- o -lanterns! Don't they look cool? Mike's is on the left, Abby's pumpkin is in the middle, and Sarah's is on the right. We carved them out in the driveway tonight, and surprisingly Abby did not delve into the seed bucket until the very end despite carrying it around the yard for a while. Several times she would trot over and put the lids back on the pumpkins, and she was very proud of herself for doing that. Tomorrow night is trick or treat here and the following night is the big Halloween parade. Mike got an idea from some old neighbors to hand out candy in the driveway while sitting around the fire pit, so he is looking forward to doing that this year.
