Although we are proud of Abby for her many accomplish- ments, there are some that it scares us she is achieving. Today she opened the door (and closed it, and opened it - over and over to her delight). Now all of those things that we had made "off-limits" by simply closing the door are at Abby's disposal. The only other safeguard we can resort to is the door knob covers, but the jury is still out on whether we are going to use those or not.
Yesterday she had her first "professional" hair cut. The last time I tried to cut her hair, she would not sit still, so when I went to have my hair trimmed, the girl at the Scizzor Shak trimmed Abby's bangs for free. While I had my hair cut, she just sat on my lap as quiet as a mouse, even though she was talking up a storm when we arrived.
Today is another nice day so we will probably try to get a wagon ride in after Abby's nap. Over the weekend Mike and Uncle Russ put together her new Radio Flyer wagon that we found on the clearance rack at Target and Abby is in love with it! If you take her out, she runs back over to it and dives over the side to get in, even though it is really high up for her. We are just so glad to have some spring weather that allows us to get outside and use the wagon!
