Pants Optional

It may be winter, but that does not matter much to Abby. She does not see much of her legs in winter, so when she does get away from you half-dressed, she really takes off running - and usually giggling.
One of her newest accomplishments is that she has learned how to work zippers. While I am glad that she is able to figure that out, she is now into several more things that had previously been "safe" from Abby.

Yesterday we had a doctor's appointment - we were one week away from the due date at that point. Nothing new to report except some swollen ankles, so I am supposed to try to get off of my feet and elevate them.
We had a brief out-of-town visitor, as well. Abby's Grandpa McGinnis was able to stop in and see her for a few hours and she was not as shy this time as she has been many other times. Lately, she is in the mode of showing everyone that comes over her toys.
Today it is snowing, after sleeting all night long - so we are praying that all of this will be melted off by the time we need to make a hospital trip. No contractions yet, so we will see if this baby decides to be early or late like big sister Abby.
Over the weekend, we had weather that was in the seventies so Abby really enjoyed the opportunity to go outside and play. Several of the neighbor kids showed up to help keep her busy blowing bubbles and riding her tricycle (which she fell off of three times, but never did cry).
