All aboard the potty train - we are hoping it is really taking off this time. Abby got motivated when we told her Emily (referring to our neighbor girl) was working on potty training. But I do think there is some confusion. In the past when we have tried to encourage her by telling her that some of her little friends were being "big girls" she has not cared. Russ's girlfriend is also named Emily. This morning Abby made a comment that "big Emily" as she calls her, could be potty trained, too!
So far Abby has gone all yesterday afternoon/evening and so far all of today wearing underwear without any accidents. Hopefully she can keep it up!
Evan is talking a lot of gibberish lately - it sounds like another language. In the past he would mostly blurt out monosyllabic noises and words. Now he is putting more complex sounds together and it won't be long until he is speaking in complete sentences.
