Time to Vent

If you are short on germs, stop by our house! Mike, Evan, and Abby all have colds -aren't we lucky? The kids have really done pretty well through it - they've slept pretty well and have been in good spirits. Abby wanted to get to the bottom of this cold business.
She asked, "Why am I sick?"
Mom: "Because a bad germ got on you."
Abby: "Where is the germ on me?"
Mom: "I think it is in your nose."
Abby: "Why is it in my nose?"
Mom: "Because that is where cold germs like to hide."
Abby: "Why do they like to hide?"
And on, and on....

In the picture, Evan enjoys the A/C to its fullest potential, and of course, his sister has to try to join in. One of these days when his vocabulary expands, he may tell her to go find her own vent.
