Since Evan is two, we are trying to interest him in the idea of going pee on the pot. He has a few times, but every time has been when he starts to crouch down in the bathtub and we whisk him onto the toilet. He always just sits there and grins, saying "I poopin.'" Yesterday was the first day letting him stand on the step stool and pee standing up like a big boy. Of course his sister had to be right there to see what was going on. She sat on the side of the tub and said, "No, Mom! The pee is going to hit me in the eye! Make him sit down!" What did Evan do? He just started crouching down and said, "I want to pee in my diaper." So maybe we are quite a ways away yet from having a potty trained Evan, but we certainly want to plant the seed that he can go in the bathroom if he wants to.
