"A Nice Meal"

One day a week or two ago it was really beautiful outside, so we ate our lunch on the front porch in our lawn chairs. Since we were doing some yard work, we just threw in a frozen pizza, so it was really nothing special. Evan sat there across from his sister, however, and commented, "This is a really nice meal, Abby." He also made that comment one day in the house at lunch over peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! It is those meals like chicken cordon bleu that really get our kids complaining.

This picture is from Saturday when it was sixty degrees and we spent the entire day outside. Two days later we have snow on the ground - go figure! The spring weather was nice while it lasted....
