And we did! Last weekend the family had a lot of fun on an outing to one of the favorite local kids' spots where there is a Bob the Builder exhibit going on. That was right up Evan and Abby's alley. It was good we got out when we did because the next day Mom and Evan were completely miserable with colds and Evan with an ear infection as well. Now the little guy is on medicine but still has a nasty sounding cough like his sister. Unfortunately, Dad, who had been doing pretty well throughout all of his family's health woes woke up yesterday with a not-so-funny feeling in his throat. Needless to say, we cannot wait for the end of cold and flu season!
