Visiting Santa

On the lawn of the library every year, Santa has a little house that he visits twice a week and we always make a point to take the kids up there so they can tell Santa what they would like for Christmas. In the past they have had a Polaroid camera that Santa's elf uses to take a picture and then slip into a little decorative envelope for a small fee. Unfortunately Polaroid quit making that film, so our collection is done growing and we just have to take our own pictures now.
The funny story this year was that after the kids told him what they wanted, we snapped pictures and walked out, Evan looked up at us and said, "But he didn't give us any presents!" He wanted instant results!
