Tonight we uploaded our pictures from my first Mother's Day weekend. We had a great time. Michael made me some heart-shaped waffles for breakfast and after that it was off for a trip to the MO Botanical Gardens. The weather was just beautiful - about 80 degrees and sunny, and we really enjoyed the day. Of course, we could not go without running into a few folks we knew. The Laffeys from Springfield were also taking in the Gardens along with the Mertens family from Seminary.In the afternoon we had a chance to stop in at BJC and visit Barb, who was glad she had a chance to see Abby.
Later that night we had a retirement party for Phyllis Rowold at the Seminary and it was fun seeing some friends there and showing Abby off.
