Friday was Abby's very first field trip. The entire family could go along so Mom, Brooke, Evan, and Grandma accompanied her to the zoo on what turned out to be the most beautiful day we have had in a long time. She had a great time with her little classmates and even got to ride the carousel with her good friend Lucy.
Afterwards we tried to help Grandma find a dress for Uncle Russ' wedding but came up empty-handed. The mall did not completely let us down, however, because Mom ran into two former coworkers and Evan scored an escalator ride. Brooke was an absolute angel all day and slept through most everything we did.
