Abby's favorite real number right now is 8. "Eight is great!" she will say. Her mother sometimes gives her to the count of three, but Abby is more generous and gives others to the count of eight, simply because she likes the number eight the best. Another number that comes up a lot with Abby is a number she has invented - "twenty-one and hundred." Any time there is a whole bunch of something, she will tell us it was twenty-one and hundred.
The picture above shows Abby, Brooke and Evan at a birthday party for the stuffed dog Valentine that lives at our house. This was the first day Brooke sat for any length of time in her Bumbo seat. She was in it for about thirty minutes that day but since has not wanted to sit in it. She will arch her back and push with her legs in an attempt to flip herself out backwards, and luckily has been unsuccessful so far in doing that!
