Every now and then you have something that starts out really well and then ends in disaster. That describes a recent trip we took to the park with some friends. We had supper out there and the kids started playing, all was well. Then they got on the merry-go-round. At first they were having a blast. Next thing we knew, Evan decides he thinks he can just hop off when it is moving pretty fast, but the problem was that he does not just jump off and land in the dirt, he holds on and allows himself to be drug around until someone stops the merry-go-round. So Evan was the first victim claimed by the MGR. Next, their little friend Lili ends up hitting her head pretty hard on a bar as it is whirling around and she is attempting to climb on and she becomes the second victim. And then as we are deciding this is not the best place for the kids to be playing, the MGR claimed its third victim. Abby walked off the merry-go-round as if it were ground level and took a tough fall. It was at that point we decided we had better just go home.
