Evan and his big sister before the wedding.- A fun baby shower for a playgroup mom. The kids are all excited about a new baby coming into the group.
- Mother's Day was very special for Mom - she was taken out for breakfast, then to church, and after that spent the afternoon with the family at the botanical garden - one of Mom's favorite places in the whole wide world!
- Our good friend Melody had her baby - welcome Anna, hope you have a high tolerance for noise!
- Abby's graduation: lots of cute songs sung by her class and the 3 year old class; seeing Abby do her unique princess "strut" to the front of the stage to receive her diploma was by far the best, though.
- the preschool family picnic snuck itself in between the rain showers and tornado warnings and the kids had a blast playing in the park. Abby's teacher also gave Abby her very first face painting, which she thought was pretty cool.
- Mom's birthday was a busy but enjoyable day shared with Russ and Emily tying the knot. Mom had so much fun dancing with her family (minus Brooke) and showing Brooke off to everyone during the day. Abby was the best flower girl EVER and Evan and Brooke behaved very well, too, making it just that much more wonderful. The wedding itself was beautiful and we are so happy Emily is part of our family now!
- Brooke rolled over for the first time (on the 29th) when we were at Grandma's house much to the delight of her cheering section.
