As you can see, I just could not resist posting this photo of Abby with her newest facial expression. We call this one "monkey lips." This face is usually accompanied by the sound, "Hoo, hoo!" and it is most often because she is a little upset.
Yesterday, our neighbor Charles brought Abby her very first piece of lawn furniture - an Adirondack chair that he made himself. Now we just need to talk him into making matching chairs for us so that we can all enjoy the patio together in Adirondack comfort.
Today we met Barb (McMillan) for lunch and Abby was, as she often is, a big attention getter at the restaurant. Everyone had to stop by and tell her she was very cute. We couldn't help but agree with them on that!
We also made time today to stop and see Agnes, our neighbor who is in the nursing home after breaking her hip. With Agnes being at the end of the hall, it takes us a little while to walk down the hall and back since there are so many residents that want to meet Abby. She put a lot of smiles on their faces today and I am sure they are looking forward to seeing her again.
