Standing Tall

Last night, little Abby hit another milestone. She stood up completely without holding on to anything at all. Previously she would start to stand, and then crouch back down. Her furniture cruising speed has also picked up considerably and she likes to walk with only one hand helping her along now. One of the cutest things about it is that it is obvious that she is very proud of herself because she sort of half laughs to herself as she is walking. It will not be long before she is walking all by herself.

We had planned on going to see jazz vocalist Erin Bode at a Botanical Garden concert last night with Queenie, but ended up canceling because of the storms. It ended up being a good thing, because last night she began running a fever and she had one again this morning. Her appetite has also not been normal today. We are hoping it is not another UTI, but hopefully it is not since that never affected her appetite before. It could be from teething and she has been coughing a little, so she could have some other sort of virus. Today she has not been herself at all and has done a lot of sleeping and mainly wants to be held. We will probably make a trip to the doctor's office in the morning (they're closed today), but until then we are keeping a close eye on her and giving her Tylenol. Despite not feeling well, she has been in a pretty good mood.
