That's the night the lights went out in....Illinois?

What an exciting evening. The wind blew a little too hard, and what do you know, our power went out! It was only out for about 2 hours, but we aren't really sure if it is going to stay on since most of our neighborhood does not have it yet. Our house and three other houses we can see have power, which is kind of strange. It rained pretty hard (good - now I don't have to water the grass!), we had some lightning and the tornado siren even went off. There was no hail, and the reason for that is that we have both cars in the garage for the first time since we lived here, I think! Abby did not enjoy this whole ordeal very much, but that is understandable since she has not been feeling so well. Luckily for us girls, Mike decided not to leave for Kansas City until early tomorrow morning. We were glad we were not sitting here in the dark alone.
