Cannonball Carrie the Mosquito (Abby's pirate name) is gradually learning what "no" means. She is somehow attracted to the things which are off-limits to her, but she knows she is not supposed to bother them. When she nears the outlet, she will stand by it, look at it, and shake her head "no." She also does this when she is next to the fireplace. It is pretty comical.
Today she sampled some grapes and lettuce (eight or nine pieces was enough), but it was the banana muffin that was crowned her favorite new food of the day.
